Hobby
So as I sit here at work, I'm thinking "I need a hobby". I really don't have one. Essentially my days consist of going to work, XBox, TV for the night. Granted I don't mind doing all that but I feel like a hobby would definitely be something interesting. Not quite sure what I feel like picking up. I used to assemble model cars and such and that could be fun and was also thinking maybe picking up guitar but my only experience with guitar comes from Rock Band/Guitar Hero and I know that it's not even close to the real thing so I dunno. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Your garage is small now right? not enough room for a car that you could work on?
Motorcycle? (moped)
wood working?
I could actually work on cars in the garage. Maybe a restoration job at some point? :)
I could give woodworking a shot too :) thanks for the ideas bud :)
Doesnt even have to be "Restoration"
I have some friends that go on CL and buy a car that needs work. For example blown tranny, blown motor, anything like that.
Make sure the exterior and interior are in good order, put your time and some money into the car and most often you make money on the sale.
Example:
Buy a civic that needs a motor for $1,000 on CL.
Buy a motor from a junkyard for $500
put the motor in and sell the car for $2000
you make $500. (which you put into tools in the begining)
civics and other hondas are great because the sell great.
Costs you money to get started, but its fun, and it makes money over time.
of course, as you get comfortable with just replacing parts then you can get into cleaning them up and replacing smaller bits.
For example, a car with a replaced motor sells better if it has all new gaskets, seals and things.
